The Distalizer is an aesthetic orthodontic appliance used to treat Class II patients in permanent or mixed dentition and which connects the maxillary canine or premolar to the first or second molar.

- Easy to be installed;
- Its parts are universal, can be used for right and left arches;
- It has excellent patient acceptance, as it is aesthetic and comfortable;
- It promotes the resolution of anterior-posterior problems in a fast and stable way, since it allows the use of elastics right at the beginning of the treatment;
- Allows rotation of molars and distalization of premolars and canines en bloc, allowing greater correction stability;
- Does not depend on the overjet to correct molars and canines, since it is not connected to the incisors;
- In asymmetric cases, its effect allows the midline to spontaneously begin to be corrected during its use;
- Can be used for treatment with fixed appliances or aligners;
- Allows adjustment flexibility on the rod which facilitates the installation;
